The Zero Dark Thirty / The Hunt map pack* is now live and the dev team at Danger Close has decided to challenge the community! Tomorrow, December 19th, you’ll have a chance to take on the devs and have your questions answered.

What: Game with Devs on Zero Dark Thirty / The Hunt maps
When: Wednesday 12/19 from 11:00am – 4:00pm PST
Where: Chitral Compound & Darra Gun Market
Platforms: Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC
How to Participate: Tomorrow before the event we’ll be announcing the dev gamertags, segmented by console. At 11:00am PST, look for their aliases in game and send them a message to have them invite you to their game. If one of the devs are in a full game or doesn’t seem to be responding, try a different dev.

One of the 14 camos that we’re adding to the game is our Dev Camo. You’ll be automatically rewarded with the Dev Camo and the Danger Close medal if you’re able to eliminate one of our devs or someone who has already eliminated a dev. Good Luck!

About the Map Pack:
The Medal of Honor Warfighter Zero Dark Thirty / The Hunt Map Pack includes two new multiplayer maps inspired by this manhunt and two of the regions in Pakistan where SEAL Team 6 hunted for Osama bin Laden. In this map pack, gamers go head to head and battle it out in two of the most dangerous locations in the world – the Darra Gun Market and Chitral Compound.

This update is optional for Xbox 360, but is required on all platforms for the upcoming Zero Dark Thirty or The Hunt map pack*, free to all Limited and pre-order copies of the Digital Deluxe editions (otherwise priced at $9.99 or 800 MS points for non-LE owners). Before you can play in a Platoon Match, you must be a member of a platoon with at least 6 active members who are able to join a party and match make at the same time.

To put together your team in a platoon match, you must do the following:

1.) In Multiplayer, open the Battlelog Social Hub.

2.) Once in the Battlelog Social Hub, choose to Open Party.

3.) Now you are in the Party Lobby, you must first change party access to Platoon Only.  Then you can send a mass invite to all members of your platoon by choosing to Invite Platoon Members. You need a minimum of 4 platoon members to start a Platoon Match.

4.) Once you have at least 4 members in the party, the option to Start Platoon Matchmaking* will appear. This will start matchmaking and eventually join you into a Platoon server. Platoon matchmaking only runs the Homerun game mode.*PC server owners, please ensure that your server has been configured for the Platoon Playlist before starting Platoon Matchmaking.

At the max rank of 100 and winning almost 80% of their games, it’s no surprise we’re featuring ThisIsMyYARD in this week’s spotlight. ThisIsMyYARD has a tendency to utilize the HK G3 – a modification of the Spanish CETME Mod brought into the German military in 1959 to replace the FN FAL. This weapon is large, heavy and deals massive damage; the perfect trinity. ThisIsMyYARD rounded up 657 victims with the HK G3 and a 22% accuracy score. ThisIsMyYARD fights for Australia and so far they’ve contributed 65,608 Warfigher Nation tokens!

WARFIGHTER NATIONS SEASON 5

Omedetou or congrats to Japan for locking in their first Warfigher Nations win in Season 5 with 325 points, putting an end to Portugal’s 3 week hot streak! This put’s japan in 2nd place with Israel for the most Season wins. Two more big W’s and they’ll be tied with Portugal. Nice work guys keep up the fragging! Make sure your teammates know to jump on Battlelog and spend their tokens to support their country!
