The Synergy Alliance is dedicated to putting the fun back into FPS gaming.
It's current game of choice but not restricted to is BF4
The Alliance is made up of two types of player: .......Expand below for more info...
1) Affiliate Members: These are players who do not necessarily want to join a clan or who are already in a clan and want to get involved in what the alliance are doing without leaving it.
They have signed up to the alliance and uphold the team play ethos but are not fully fledged members.
However, other alliance players will know, support and receive support from them in game.
2) Alliance members: These players wear the tags and emblem of the alliance and are fully fledged members who have decided to embrace the Alliance and what it stands for publicly in game.
These members are easier to spot in game by other Alliance members and as such will get greater benefit from its membership.
Which type of member are you?
This is completely up to you.
Once I have accepted the invite you will be shown as a member of the Alliance in its ranks.
Whether you decide to adopt the tags and emblem is your choice.
Just ensure that if you do, you follow the alliance ethos and don't bring the alliance name into disrepute by ignoring server rules etc.
If you do, you will be removed from the Alliance and lose the support of its membership.
The Ethos
Alliance members have made a commitment to each other that they will 100% stay focused on the objective the squad leader has indicated in game.
Members can use whichever kit they see fit and do whatever they want to do but they must support the squad they are in if those squad members are part of the alliance.
Whether they are in a jet, a chopper, on foot or in a tank.
The squad will attack / defend the designated objective and attempt to not get distracted with other objectives, although this is easier said than done sometimes we admit :o)
The Alliance does have a founder but no clear leadership roles other than membership approval and removal.
Whoever is the squad leader calls the shots.
Alliance members / affiliates will generally create their own squad so one of their own is in charge.
We obviously want to maintain the Alliances good name so we do ask that you obey the rules of which ever server you are on and try not to be too abusive.
The emphasis with the alliance is on the various alliance squads playing and winning together.
We may not always win the war but we will win the individual battles in this way.
There will be times when 5 or 6 of us will join a server and end up on different sides.
That's fine, just create your own squads, maintain the rigid support ethos and duke it out.
Communication
Our preferred method of communication is TS3.
IP ADDRESS: 109.169.20.100:10182
Details of this will be sent to new Alliance Members or affiliates as they join.
There is no requirement to be on TS although it obviously makes communication easier.
There are rules for those that do decide to use Teamspeak such as, no music playing, no being abusive, no raging, you must wear headphones etc.
If you do not like those rules, that's fine just don't go on Teamspeak :o)
Alliance Identity
Another way we can recognize each other in game and that people can easily recognize us is through the vehicle camouflage we use.
Again this is optional but we have made the "Naval" Camo "Flat Naval" the official alliance colours.
This compliments the emblem, stands out and is a camo very few other people use.
In time when a string of vehicles goes flying by that are all light navy blue players will know they are members of the alliance and our reputation for team work will grow.
Similarly, if you are a member of a clan and want to still keep their emblem but show you are with the alliance you can put on our camo.
Also, don't worry about the camo standing out, if you think about it, you always see the vehicles not matter what camo they have so it makes no difference :o)
Donations
There will be no donations.
The Alliance is deliberately set up to be low cost.
There are no server or website fees to worry about.
Rules
There is only one main rule:
Support your squad!
Some Alliance members may be tempted to enjoy the support of the Alliance when they are squad leader but not support it when they have to follow.
That is not in the true spirit of the Alliance and you will be removed from its membership.
Other than that it is about simple team play and bringing people together who enjoy playing that way.
