Platoon Presentation

Looking for talented snipers and good teamwork.

SNIPERS: You must have a good shot and know your terrain. Overwatch positions of objectives are key. You could opt for Long-Range or Designated Marksmen positions.

Long-Range: You need to be a good shot and understand basic concealment. This includes ground cover and camo. A Long-Range sniper is part of a team. You will usually be accompanied by a Medic for security and forward spotting. It is recommended to use bolt-action rifles.

Designated Marksmen: Your job is to bring the guns with a heavy punch to the fight. Moving regularly with a squad a DM will often be in combat so it is recommended to use a semi-auto rifle with an ACOG scope for short to long fire support. Don't be a hero! Let the Medics storm rooms and Engineers take on vehicles.

Security/Spotter: Your role is to keep the enemy off of the sniper you are paired with. in addition to this it is often helpful to assist him by spotting the enemy. Remember don't go to far from your sniper, he has nothing more than a rifle and sidearm which is no match for a fully kitted Medic. Suppresors are recommended. High powered scopes optional.

General Rules:

Spot before firing, he might drop you before you can get your sights on him.

Communicate, Use a simple CLASS, LOCATION, ACTION system. Example; Engineer, Garage, Firing at friendly tank. CLA.

Game Modes:

Squad Deathmatch: In Squad Deathmatch do not think that the BMP-2 is the main objective. The best plan is to stay low and kill hostiles quickly, One could turn to four quickly. If you see the BMP-2 and no one is around get in it and provide fire support for your team - Konigsreich

Conquest: Use the vehicles defensively. Use CLA to assist snipers in the field. Snipers prioritize support requests and acess the options on the battlefield. Don't rush alone. Use squad tactics and regroup before pushing on an objective. If you are the last man standing, take cover and do not expose yourself to unnecesary risks. Helicopters focus on Tanks and IFVs. Jets should focus on clearing the skies.

Rush

Defence: Spread out over the objectives and always remember losing an objective isn't always bad. more people defending one can be a tough nut to crack.

Attack: We will preform a rush on one objective probably the farthest one away while one or two mortars lay down fire. meanwhile a squad with silencers will sneak onto the other one. One the secondary M-COM is armed the squad will hold out until reinforcements arrive. Half of the forces at the 'Rush' objective divert to support the squad which will be in trouble if they don't get there fast. After the objective is destroyed. converge in a pincer on the other. Spot for mortars, and Medics stay on your toes, you need to revive downed soldiers to keep our tickets up.
